Twilight Tuesday Fun!!

Twilight Tuesday is such a fun site, if you Love Twilight you have got to head over there and join this fun group! The ladies there are amazing!! There is a blog and a forum for all your Twilight chatting needs!!

Monday New Moon challenge is new! A sketch for the month of Feb!

Stamps Used: Unity KOTM sentiment
Papers Used: Basicgrey bittersweet dp
Ink Used: Chocolate chip SU
Accessories Used: Cricut Expressions, Plantin Schoolbook cartridge, pink pirouette ribbon SU, dimensionals.

I have to say at first I didnt like the Jacon character, I was okay with him taking care of Bella in New Moon but he came off as immature and taking things too hard about bella and Edward. I absolutely hated Jacob in Breaking Dawn..I didnt like how Stephenie Meyer wrote this character and I couldnt wait for the book to go back to Bellas perspective. But as I read through the series the second time and everytime since (it has been six times through) I can completely understand his point and he is a wonderful character and fits right in! Silly right?

Anyways my story is I have a best friend that I have had since 8th grade. He has loved me since day one probably will never stop but I have only felt love for him as a friend. I have never dated him and we hung out all the time, it was nice to be around him we have communicated for years and reconnect everytime we are away for any length of time. He is my Jacob, someone I care for and love but in a different way. I can 100 percent see Bellas side of this story involving Jacob, I am glad in Breaking Dawn Jacob found his true love and a happy ending ended the series!
So on to the card. The Unity KOTM has some awesome sentiments perfect for this story. Love me, Kiss me and Best friends. It might not make sense to anyone who hasnt read this series but these sentiments together work for this! I stayed with earthy colors like Jacob being a wolf. I stamped So and So loves in chocolate chip and stamped the best friends in the tree. I layered onto basicgrey bittersweet dp.

Stamps Used: Sentiments from the KOTM-Unity, So and SO loves-unity
Papers Used: Kraft, whisper white SU, dp basicgrey bittersweet
Ink Used: Chocolate chip, river rock, pink pirouette SU
Thanks for stopping by and enjoying twilight time with me!!!
Till Later!!

Yay! I love this card... Great job and HOW LUCKY you are to have a Jacob!

It seems pretty universal that Jake annoyed ppl at first... I'm so glad people reconsidered! :)

You rock!

Such beautiful cards, Jacquie!
I loved the book Twilight, haven't read the others yet. It's so funny but now they always give the weather forecast for Forks here on our local tv stations. I don't remember them ever mentioning it much before the book's success. We'll have to take a drive down and check it out :)

OH. MY. Those are absolutely gorgeous. That composition of the first one is brilliant as is the color combination and the subtle shimmer. And your second card - how cool is that center stamp! I really love this one too. Thanks for playing along with us!

The second card reminds me of a print my Aunt has...wolves/Indian (can't remember if an Indian is in it or not) running through the snow & birch trees! You have to look at it just right to see the Indian (if I remember it correct).
