Real short FWF post for ya...busy busy holiday season!

I was thinking ahead to Fathers Day looking at all the categories for submitting to Cards Creations 8 from Papercrafts Magazine...I submitted this but pretty sure it didnt get picked up, no emails yet. but congrats to all the crafty Unity lovin gals I know who did get picked up!! Yay!!

Anyways it is using the crossword puzzle stamp from the November 09 KOM and dp from october afternoon. really simple layout and I wrote the words inside. Little bit of distressing also on the image.

***Diedrich Dare Challenge #15!!***

Happy Wednesday to ya!!

Today I have my post for the Diedrich Dare Challenge #15!!

Since xmas is next week, we will be taking next week off! This challenge will be going on for the next two weeks, so plenty of time to play along with us!!

Jack came up with an AWESOME sketch for today!! Thanks Jack!!! The Diedrich kids are just SO talented!!

And to make this challenge even Sweeeeter...Randi will be giving away A single un-mounted image from the Sweet Pea Fanatasy Art Collection by Ching-Chou-Kuik AND one of her handmade, whimsical cards!!!! OMheavens!!! I want to be eligible to win too!!! Winner will be announced when we resume on the 30th of December!

side note: Now I have been checking this company out this last week because Randi is always showing such Amazing, beautiful work as only SHE can...and I have to say I LOVE this line of images!!! And the NEW ONE OMG dying!!! Vamptastic, all you Twilight/Vamp fanactics (YES like me!) will LOVE it! SO head over to The Diedrich Dare Blog and play along!!!

ok..now on to my take on the sketch!
I took the little strip in the middle as a really HUGE square LOL! Right, Jack? Thats how it was meant to be I know it!! :D hehe
I used Drucilla from the Moonlight Whispers line from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps! Does everyone know how much I love these stamps yet?? :D Love them!
I colored her up in Black and Orange colored pencils..She totally came to life as I colored her..LOVE this image! Sentiment is also from KKS but from the Josephine image.
I paper pierced around the edges and I kept everything close to the left side of the card, something different! Dp is Offbeat-BasicGrey, Ribbon from the middle panel and three rhinestones in each corner! I really love how this turned out! Hope everyone else does too!

***MOJO Monday 117 card***

HI Everyone!!

Monday already and so much to do!! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was pretty uneventful... Normally we would be Christmas Shopping but this year we will just be getting a few things for the kids, our finances are not good this holiday :( I know we will bounce back after the holidays, we will be good in time...

Anyways! I played along with MOJO monday #117 which fit PERFECT with the coloring I did this weekend!! I had this Dressy Anya all ready to go and the perfect sketch came along from one of my Fav Sketch sites!! Julee's Sketches are ALWAYS amazing!! Thanks Julee!!

I used Dressy Anya and colored her with colored pencils. I cut her out with my circle nesties and while in the Die I sponged lavendar ink onto the circle! Perfect touch for this beauty! Since I do not have a scalloped circle die I used ribbon I ruffled around the circle. The dp is Wisteria BasicGrey, I also used plum pudding and lemon tart Papertrey Ink cardstock. All the edges are distressed. Ribbon is old BasicGrey yellow and white striped. Sentiment is from Bevy of Butterflies Unity Stamp Set.

Howdy!!
Today is Friday once again and it is time to celebrate Unity Stamp Company! Every week us customers sign up to make a project featuring Unity Stamps!!
The Unity Blog has the main list of 50 customers and the participating DT members! Check it out at 9 AM CST!! There is a random blinkie too to win a grab bag of 25 stamps!! Look for the Blinkie on your way hopping!!!
I should be about half way through so I will make this short and sweet and send you on your way through the hop!!
I have been really into making my cards featuring Unity Clean and Simple (or sassy I like to call it LOL!) I used some stamps that you might not have thought to put together! This just might be my new personal theme for FWF....Hmmm...I could definitely do that every friday...

Anyways here is my card... I used the November 09 KOM and put the Frame on white cs and stamped the lightbulb image inside! Funky huh? I colored with colored pencils and added crystal effects to the lightbulb. I distressed the edges for a vintage look. The sentiment is from the same kit. I stamped that directly onto Kraft PTI cs and added Faux stitching... Clean....and Simple!!

***Clara in Holiday colors***

HI everyone!!

Yesterday was such a great day sharing my new exciting news!!

I played along with the SCS color challenge the other day...I used scarlett jewel instead of the purple toned eggplant color.........OOPS!!!!!

Well these colors fit Clara from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!! GOSH I LOVE these stamps..... I am very blessed to have such a kind and giving friend who has helped me stay stocked in Kimmie Grey rubber for xmas!! Thanks hun! :D MWAH!

I also used Mercy's Tuesday sketch...as you might of recalled I used it for yesterdays card but I actually made this card first!!

Here is my card....

I colored Clara with colored pencils...desperately trying to get better with these... Her coat is paper pieced with scarlett jewel. Dp is 7 gypsies I found laying around. The buttons are paper buttons again made with ripe avacado papertrey ink cs. Seems very christmas-y as I look at it now! Now if I just had Verve's new christmas sets for the sentiments...Wouldnt those be perfect here?? I think so!!

Here is my REALLY EXCITING NEWS!!! I am now a DAREDEVIL for The Diedrich Dare Blog!!

I was so Blown Away when I got the email last week from THE Jessica Diedrich asking little 'ol me to be part of the 13 Daredevils!!! WOW right???

So what did I say?? YES!! In about 2 minutes flat!

This week we have an inspiration from Madelynn, She is into Wizards of Waverly place and found this COOL plate! Those colors are so bright!! Perfect for any girl!

I was inspired by the colors and circle shape! I thought 80's Anya would work great colored in those great Bright colors!! As I was looking through my Dp i found this great pinkpattern and ran with it! I used Mercys Tuesday Sketch #51 while I was at it! I used a circle instead of the main panel being a rectangle!! The sentiment is Verve Starstruck set!

**My Mojo Monday 116 Card**

Howdy Peeps!

Yesterday was Monday and MOJO monday none the less! This week is the contest week and up to 7 winners could win a Verve Stamp Set!! I really do LOVE Verve..they are such a great company!

Soooo I played along! :D Yay!

I just couldn' do a circle image panel this time...In almost every post for the last week I have been using circles LOL! But I did do the circles behind. I used textured paper, dp and spring moss cs and 'bugged them with the Swiss Dots folder, and sponged with ink. The dp for the main panel is from Eva-BasicGrey line...Still had some left in all this time!

I thought those colors went PERFECT with Josephine from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!! She is eclectic and bohemian chic! (Thank You D for the amazing pressie)

Ribbon is spring moss from PTI and button is Foof-a-la!

**Gift card holder**

Hey everyone!

I played along with the Crazy 4 Challenges #14 and Kimmie challenge #9!

The challenge for both was to make a Gift Card Holder.
I looked on SCS and found a tutorial from Beate for a Tea Bag Holder and used that, worked great for gift card holder too! Room for 2 gift cards!
I used Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Piper and colored her with colored pencils to match the marrakech dp I used. Pretty simple layout. Ribbon is Spring moss from Papertrey Ink.

**Whimsical Fairy Superstar**

Hey everyone! Just a real quick post today.
I played along again with the Diedrich Dare! Wednesdays are such FUN days now seeing the little sketches and challenges Jess' talented kids come up with!
Nicky gave everyone a sketch and he made a doosy! I didnt finish making this card till thursday night...stumped me big time!

here is the sketch...

and here is my card..

I used Spring Fairy digi from The Greeting Farm, colored her with colored pencils. This card ended up in all primary colors!!

Didnt start that way, I usually never use these colors but once I colored the fairy I had to change the dp I had chosen before and get this dp from Marrakech BG line.

For the little astericks in the middle I used ribbon and brads around the image.
The buttons are paper buttons...didnt have the right color so I made them with lemon tart pti cardstock..just punched the circle 4 times and glued them together, punched the 4 holes with my piercing tool then covered with crystal effects.. Really fun way to make your own buttons!!

**MOJO-rific Piper card**

I worked on this weeks Mojo Monday sketch #115...

I really wanted to use Piper from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps because those stamps just ROCK! LOVE them all!!

Still trying to JUMPSTSTART my MOJO...

with little pushes from my friends ;D Thanks ladies...MWAH! I think it might be working...

I colored her with colored pencils...I have THREE working copics :( not enough to color her up... SO I gave my pencils another try. I matched her to this dp from the BasicGrey Eerie pack...so glad it wasn't only Halloween patterns and you can use these papers for any time!

This card is 4 x 4 with the circles the largest and second largest Circle Nesties dies. I paper pierced around Piper and the main dp panel. Sentiment is from Bevy of butterflies Unity set. A little distressing, ribbon...and VOILA!

**Christmas Witch?? MTSC#50**

Seeing by that title you can probably assume my head is a little foggy because of my cold, right??

I am a little familiar with that line of stamps if anyone can recall ;D I was glad for a reason to dig this image out of my pile and color Morgan up...as I was coloring my daughter Morgan came along and asked, "is that Morgan, Mom?" She knows all the Morgan stamps I have :) She is always so tickled when she sees a new Morgan set! She will be quite the crafter when she gets older

Anyways I colored Witch Morgan in red and black, I figured she could be flying at any time right?? Its Christmas coming, she could be Santas helper? LOL!
