**Finally...I am back and making cards!**

I feel Like I have been gone a month! It has been a great week with family and yummy thanksgiving food! I hope everyone had a perfect Thanksgiving!

I finally am back to making cards!

I made a card for the last Deidrich Dare challenge #12 from Jess's Son Jack, what an AWESOME sketch! :D Cute!I won Piper from Kraftin Kimmie stamps last week and I got her today! Check out the banner to visit her site and get some of these ADORABLE stamps!!
She is perfect for christmas-y paper and colors!
I colored her with colored pencils and did all sorts of fun things with this card!

**A card for Mercys Tuesday Sketch 49**

Hi everyone!

Had some fun playing along with Mercy's tuesday Sketch Challenge #49 today!

I used the Digi Summer Fairy of The Greeting Farm's new Fairies!!
I Colored her with my few remaining inky Copics, her wings are painted with Hottie Pink Shimmerz blingz (We are having rain and storms so I couldnt get a good enough pic yet). All the card stock is papertrey ink and I used my Martha Stewart Floral Lace punch. Sentiment is from the Nov 09 KOM from Unity, LOVE this sentiment!

**All you need is.....Pixie Dust**

Hi all! I have played along with Mercys Tuesday Sketch finally this week :D I SO LOVE every weeks sketch! Isn't this sketch the coolest?!

So yesterday as I was making my easel card (found on the post below this one) I made my main panel too big for what I was making and I didnt know what to do with it...Well this was the perfect fit!!! I turned the sketch on its side which I seem to like to do often! I used lemon tart and true black PTI cardstock, dp from Earth Love Cosmo cricket {again!} and true black ribbon from PTI. This is pretty simple for me lately, took me about 15 minutes, thats really good!!! :D This is my version of CAS {Clean and Simple} Image and sentiment is from Unity November 09 KOM! love love love this kit!!

I did something WAY different for the hemp twine and button, does it look weird?? IDK I thought it was something new to try to see how I like it.

Hello again my bloggy friends!

I have to say it feels kind of weird posting a few days in a row nowadays...

SO reading my google reader this morning I saw the Diedrich dare ladies posting their projects for the Deidrich Dare 11 challenge and I wanted to play along this week!! :D I LOVE making Easel cards, once that first time was over I want to make them all the time! They are ingenius!

and over at SCS the sketch challenge was perfect for me! love this sketch! SC255

Here is my card...I used the November 09 KOM!!! I got mine today, I LOVE living hours away from Unity!! :D I inked up the Fairy Image and sentiment from the KOM. I stamped the Fairy in versafine onyx black onto Lemon Tart PTI cs. Distressing and paper piercing on most of the layers was fun! The dp is Earth Love from Cosmo Cricket, my Fav Cosmo Line so far!!!

**Mojo-rific Oops!!!**

Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday!

I decided to play with the Mojo Monday 113 sketch! What a great sketch this week!

The color challenge over at SCS is Always Artichoke, Real red, chocolate chip and any neutral.

and Die Cuts R us challenge is to make anything girly!

I used a pretty Dressy Anya Image I received from a good friend! This isnt the typical pink girly I think of normaly but it is red and pretty and frilly! :D
I started out being inspired by Julee's Sample for the MOJO sketch and rounding two corners only of the card base and anya panel.

I used colored pencils to color Anya and goo be gone to blend. The dp is My Minds Eye "out and about" paper pack. Cardstock is all papertrey ink colors, Pure poppy, dark chocolate, ripe avacado and white. I used PTI satin white ribbon and smooshed and twisted it onto the cs. Around the circle cutout (used my circle nesties again) I put sticky tape on the back and smooshed the ribbon around the circle. Sentiment is from Unity butterfly beauty set. You can barely see it but I used the Martha Stewart Floral Lace punch on the middle panel. All edges are distressed. Dew drops in the corners also.

NOW here is where the OOPS comes in... My mind has been pretty occupied and I have caught another cold...so...I didnt complete the MOJO sketch the first time...I forgot the middle panel!!

**Crazy {Acetate Circle} Kimmie Challenge!!**

Hi Everyone!!

I have a card for both Crazy 4 Challenge 11, using acetate on a card AND Kraftin Kimmie Challenge 6, using circles and the sketch is from SFYTT!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE these challenge sites and I LOVE Kimmies stamps, those girls are the best from the Moonlight Whispers Line!!! What a super great company, I just LOVE everything about Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!! She had me at Hello!!! LOL! Day one of Kim opening the store I bought Charlotte! I couldn't resist!! I have plans to get every single one!

Here are the Deets on my card!

I used acetate and cut a circle out with my circle nestabilities and stamped Charlotte out with black ink on that circle...Then I took Vintage Cream PTI cs and made the same size circle and stamped charlotte out again. I colored Charlotte's hair with copics, and her shirt with a glitter gel pen and the doll is with a sakura green pen. I colored her skin and cheeks on the cream panel. I layered the acetate onto the cream and used a clear tacky glue to adhere.

The dp is from Nutmeg Cosmo Cricket and all cardstock is from Papertrey Ink.

Sentiment is from the June 09 KOM from Unity Stamp Company.

**Friends with Flair Friday with Unity**

Happy Friday the 13th!! I know Halloween is over!!

Today is another Friends With Flair Friday for Unity Stamp Company!!!!

I LOVE seeing all the crafty Unity goodness on Fridays!

I made two cards! They go together so I had to make them both!

I knew I wanted to do the Plane, sentiment Flag combo today but I didnt know how to do it...knew a long card, knew blue and pink...lucky me though I was having an online craft session with one of my Best Friends (yes I have 2 Best friends, LOVE that! I have so much LOVE for them both) and she was embossing...lightbulb went off. BUT I goofed up and ended up with an AWESOME mistake!!

Here's what I did, I had my white PTI cs ready to go, had my Embossing powder and black ink...the plan was to use black ink with clear EP, guess what color I had?? WHITE!! Yep...white on white! SO I had to think again...and I decided to sponge over it in a matching color with my dp! SO a mistake to something I LOVE and will use again!! I used the technique on both the Boy and Girl card.

Also The flag parts on both are cut out and rubbed against my desk to curl and popped it on my cards, they pop out!

Ingredients are basically the same on both except colors, both use BasicGrey dp and PTI cardstock, white satin PTI ribbon and Basicgrey buttons.

Going to the Chapel........

and we're gonna to get married....LOL! Sorry already been there done that! BUT my card for you is featuring the Chapel and sentiment from the Unity October 09 KOM!!

I used Mercys Tuesday Sketch Challenge 47 AND Die Cuts R Us Design Team Challenge, Emboss Something!! I know another Two-Fer! but they are so inspiring and were perfect fits!!

I used my Fleur De Lis CB embossing folder for this card and Earth Love Cosmo Cricket dp. I layered onto Kraft PTI cardstock. The image is colored with colored pencils and the heart is paper pieced. The lace is from some old curtains and I stitched the ends and sticky taped the rest of it on the panel.

Charlotte Stitched Easel Card!!

Hey Everyone!!

I usually don't blog on sundays for some reason... BUT today I played along with 2 AMAZING challenges!! Kraftin Kimmie Stamps Blog has a challenge with STITCHING!! AND Crazy4Challenges #10 has everyone making an Easel card!

Kraftin Kimmie Stamps is sponsoring the C4C10 challenge so I figured it is a perfect time to play along!! :D

I LOVE Kimmies stamps, the Moonlight Whispers line sucked me in Immediately!!

I used Charlotte, and I have been having fun FAUX quilting. All the stitching is drawn on there (shhh...) I took my piercing tool and went across all the 6 small 1.5 x 1.5 squares and pierced holes, then I took a dark grey colored pencil (a dark gel pen would work better) and connected the holes in a zig zag pattern, same for the red and white polka dotted panel on the bottom panel.

and I LOVE crazy4challenges blog too, those ladies keep us on our toes with the challenges!

HERE are instructions on how to make an Easel card, not as hard as I thought!! I made mine 5x5 to fit Charlotte well. You just adjust the total size to 5x10. easy peasy!

SO i jumbled them all together and here is what I came up with!!

This card is for a super special friend who has been "knocking my socks off"!! She should know who she is :D

Friends With Flair Friday for Unity!!!

Tons of amazing new things happening for Unity and I couldnt be happier!! They grow all the time, it is so wonderful!!

My card features the October 09 KOM and I have used Heather Rolin's design, the guitar and Rock On sentiment!! LOVE them and this is the first time I got them inky!

I decided on a purple and green color combo with black thrown in, I got out some Eerie BasicGrey and chose the not so halloweeny ones. There is sakura gelly roll clear sparkle on the hearts and sentiment. The guitar is colored with V09 copic and I used a colorless blender to erase some of the dark color. It is also covered in crystal effects to shine. Ribbon is spring moss, papertrey Ink ribbon and I just smooshed it on there any which way.

The Sketch is Mercys Tuesday Sketch Challenge #46!! LOVE her sketches!!

Hey everyone! It is wednesday and I played along with the SCS Sketch challenge this morning!! I used Unity October & July 09 KOM for the flowers and sentiment. This challenge threw me for a loop, those triangles...so I did bows instead!

I used nutmeg Cosmo Cricket dp and some papertrey ink cardstock. I really am addicted to using that MS floral lace edge punch! Should I stop using it for a while?? LOL I sponged the edges of the main panel and distressed the edges of all the paper.

A little bit of Tuesday fun!!

I have had some time on my hands today and have created a card!!

I took the MOJO monday Sketch 111 for this week and have used it as

inspiration, I used the SCS color challenge Neutrals for my color choices and the Die Cuts R Us Challenge to "Nest Something"!!

Enough fun for ya?? :D I was inspired by them all to create this card!! I usually don't clump challenges but I just couldn't help it this time, it all just flowed so well together. And of course I HAD to use Unity October 09 KOM!!!

Here it is....

I used my martha stewart Floral lace punch, my new Fleur de lis CB embossing folder and Circle Nesties (Nesties and folder bought at Stamp Happens!! Great service!), some papertrey ink ribbon, brads and threw them all together!! :D I placed the smaller nestie off to the side a bit and also stamped the image off to the right of the smaller circle. All the edges are distressed...I think I really like this card!
