Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #43 A love Song

Hey All I am back! I know you all are missing me...can you believe it has almost been a whole week since I blogged last?? Wow, I am sorry!

Its Twilight Tuesday!!!! YAY!!! Arent you excited?? I AM!!

So this week is a doosie as I like to call it! Beth has made us all put on our thinking caps this week!!! I will let her tell you about it!
"TTIC43 ~ A Love Song for Edward and Bella

I love music! I relate just about everything I hear in songs to something. I just breathe it in – I FEEL it!
So my challenge is going to draw on that.

I challenge you to think about the Saga as a whole, and then to decide in retrospect, what Edward and Bella’s song should be.

It can be a song about a particular part of their relationship, or their journey as a whole. Be prepared to explain!! This IS a variation of a prior challenge, so I ask that you try and go in a different direction if you participated previously! This will take some thought before project ideas even come into play – I better go start studying my iPod now…

Challenge Portion: Choose a song. Explain why it should be theirs. Share lyrics that are particularly poignant, if you can. Create a project scrapbook layout around this song.
Comment Portion: Do you have a theme song? One that seems to have been written *just* for you? Do tell! You can go as fun or profound as you are comfortable with – it is all good!"
I had a pretty tough time narrowing down my selections...there are SO many songs out there about love and that fit for Bella and Edward... I almost went the classical route, listen to some 80's power ballads, 90's angsty...I have a few on my music player right here on my blog. I finally settled on a newer song by the now broken up Danity Kane...Stay with me. If you stay here long enough you will hear the next song that was a close second. Stay by Shakespear's Sister.
SO since beautiful Beth made us do a scrapbook page...um thanks dear! ;) I did an 8x8 layout. I dont have a printer that works so I made due with stamps, paper and some fun embellies!
My base is scarlett jewel cardstock from papertrey Ink. I layered all sorts of awesome basicGrey dp and colored my Untamed Gorjuss Girl with markers and pencils. If you look real close you can see the shimmerz blingz i added to her dress, boots and flower in her hair. The word "stay" is chipboard letters i painted over with Tim Holtz Distress crackle paint in scattered straw. I added a bit of ink after they crackled and added a button so you knew it was an A! The button was in a pack of buttons for Twilight from Walmart! yay!
My layout is based loosely on the TTSC#9 for this week!
My best friend in the whole wide word gave me some great advice and I love her for it!
