More time to blog equals more fun!!

I know I've said I'm back a LOT so I wont be repetitive and I will say I will be blogging more...I hope :) 

I have been following the fun going on over at Kraftin Kimmies Stamps Facebook page for their October release which is all about winter and Christmas eek...not ready!

They have some run challenges and prizes this month so I decided to play along a bit. Amazing stuff over there! The challenges I played along with were from the World cardmaking day events. I'm a little late posting this card!

My card is for the distressing and monocromatic challenges. I also used the October monthly sketch.

I used a retired Moonlight whispers stamp from the beginning of their creation.

Paper used: Bo bunny-midnight frost collection, papertrey ink white cardstock

Just a little note

Hey everyone

If you have noticed I havent been around much lately. Well besides losing internet I have also been dealing with health issues. I was originally diagnosed with Graves disease/hyperactive thyroid in early 2009. After treatment for about a year I was symptom free. This last month I have been in and out of the ER with symptoms again and it is back with a vengance. Add some anxiety now and it makes my struggle that much harder.

I have taken a two week hiatus from all the design teams I am on to get my health regulated again and return to a healthy state.

Bears and Bunches & Bunches and Bears!!

Hey Everyone!!

I am here with another Anita Be Stampin Sample!!

Today we are previewing Bears and Bunches NEW rubber set available Saturday!!

This is such an adorable set! Comes with these two adorable bears and three sentiments!!

I took the two bears and put them together and added the sentiment over her head. I colored them with Derwent colored pencils and blended with oms. The dp is the always lovely Hopscotch BasicGrey! LOVE it!

Back to challenges for Anita Be Stampin-Challenge!!!

Hey Everyone!

We are BACK with Challenges for Anita Be Stampin!!

This one is kinda to get back into the groove of things! We are using our Golden Oldie stamps and have no fear New Stamps are coming SOON!!! Yay!!

This weeks challenge is a sketch by lovely Anita!

It is a great one to play along with! We want all our ABS faithfuls and newbies out there playing along!

I used Cherry Sweet and used the Faux Charcoal technique again. Its addictive! I did this by using a Black derwent colored pencil and oms on Kraft PTI cardstock. The rest of the papers are basicgrey and My minds Eye. Ribbon is from May Arts and it is really hard to find! I stamped the cherries image and colored as well. Sentiment is actually "You're So Cherry Special" but I overlapped the main panel over the "You're". Still works! :)

Cheeky Rockabilly Fun!

Hey Everyone!

I have played along with some challenges today!

I am playing along with The Greeting Farm Farm Fresh Fridays Mystery color challenge {Black, Turquoise and 1 other color}and Club Anya & Friends Sketch from my wonderful friend Jen Shults! I also used Jen's Black and White coloring on Kraft CS technique found HERE on Jens blog! Check it out it is AWESOME! Whew I really thought I flubbed it up but I am liking it the more I look at my coloring :)

I used TGF Cheeky Rockabilly Stamp and stamped her onto Kraft Papertrey Ink Cardstock. I used black Derwent colored pencil and oms to blend. I added very few white highlights, my white turned a light blue so I just touched really lightly in some spots.

The dp is a mix of My Minds Eye and BasicGrey marrakesh line.

Baby Bud Friends

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the delay in posting. Always getting life's junk worked out.

I have a card I made for a couple challenges around the bloggy world.

Baby bud Designs has a new challenge "Friends"! I played along using Kai and Fairy Orlagh. I printed them out and colored them with my Derwent colored pencils. I cut out her wings and layered her close to Kai. I added some faux sewing to piece the panels together. The sentiment is from Unity December '09 KOTM {that was my last KOTM...it has been WAY TOO long!! boo hoo}. The sketch is from the last weeks JUGS challenge. The paper is Basic Grey Hopscotch line and papertrey ink ribbon and cardstock.

My project for InStyle Stamps Sketch Challenge!!

I LOVE these stamps!

The one I used is the Newly Released set Fairy Tales!

There is so many great stamps in this set!!

I used Alice in the Wonderland image and colored her up with Derwent colored pencils and blended with oms.
