Tuesday Twilight Inspiration challenge #17 is all about Jacob!!

I have to say at first I didnt like the Jacon character, I was okay with him taking care of Bella in New Moon but he came off as immature and taking things too hard about bella and Edward. I absolutely hated Jacob in Breaking Dawn..I didnt like how Stephenie Meyer wrote this character and I couldnt wait for the book to go back to Bellas perspective. But as I read through the series the second time and everytime since (it has been six times through) I can completely understand his point and he is a wonderful character and fits right in! Silly right?

Anyways my story is I have a best friend that I have had since 8th grade. He has loved me since day one probably will never stop but I have only felt love for him as a friend. I have never dated him and we hung out all the time, it was nice to be around him we have communicated for years and reconnect everytime we are away for any length of time. He is my Jacob, someone I care for and love but in a different way. I can 100 percent see Bellas side of this story involving Jacob, I am glad in Breaking Dawn Jacob found his true love and a happy ending ended the series!

So on to the card. The Unity KOTM has some awesome sentiments perfect for this story. Love me, Kiss me and Best friends. It might not make sense to anyone who hasnt read this series but these sentiments together work for this! I stayed with earthy colors like Jacob being a wolf. I stamped So and So loves in chocolate chip and stamped the best friends in the tree. I layered onto basicgrey bittersweet dp.

Best fun of all yesterday I got my Unity Kit Of The Month!! Woo Hoo, wow great stamps!! You have one more day to buy this set for 24.99 plus 5 dollars shipping before they go to 45 bucks!! This is my first kit and wow I am so glad I got it!!! They are HUGE stamps!!

I also got my jacksonbelle Embellishments order, pink poinsettia shimmerz blingz and bittersweet dp from BasicGrey!

Unity Addicts Wednesday Challenge #21 is up. Lisa H chose the challenge for us today. A love card using red, pink yellow and baby blue. I thought this would be difficult but I think I did okay. This is also using the sketch for SC213.

They are a Dutch Goth band and her voice is so etherial and then the snarling of the slipknot sounding members kick in and wow I love dutch goth!! HAHA! very fitting with my obsession with the Twilight series!! Sweet and scary!

Tuesday challenge cards

Busy tuesday! So many wonderful challenges out there in the blogging world today!!

First things first, color challenge on SCS this week is garden green, pacific point and baja breeze. Didnt think those colors would work too well but i like them now!

Twilight Tuesday Challenge #16 be inspired by the twilight soundtrack.
I had to choose Claire De Lune. Just beautiful, I heard it first on the Spiderman movie and loved it here in Twilight. It is romantic and perfect for the love between Bella and Edward. I also think the song from the score The Lion fell in love with the lamb is great inspiration music.


Card positioning System CPS #100 What a great sketch, I had to play!! I am just starting to explore new stamp companies and I just bought a gift cert to MFT so I am glad they are sponsoring this week!


Jacksonbelle Embellishments Challenge 37 this challenge is to use stitching or faux stitching. I love using faux stitching, one day I will get a sewing machine. I just ordered my first order from jacksonbelle embellishments and it should be here soon!

I was feeling mighty creative Monday.
Over at SCS there was the TLC205 paper pleating challenge. I folded some pink pirouette dp and the rest came together. It seems like the pleating may look a little out of place there but I think the ribbon and button add it to the card. I like it! What a deal!! and my gorgeous daughter!

So I get the My Favorite Things newsletter right to my inbox. And Kim is having an awesome CHA deal!! Buy any gift voucher and after she gets back from CHA she will double it!!! Today, Sunday the 25th of January only!! Go and grab one!! I have never purchased anything from her store yet so this is a great deal to get my feet wet so to speak! Thanks KIM!!!

My daughter had super long hair and it was just getting to difficult to brush through everyday so we decided to go for a hair cut at Kids Hair. tvs and suckers just what a kid wants!!

She was sooo good! Anyways the lady cut two ponytails and they were 10 inches long, enough to donate to Locks of Love!!! Isnt that great! My little girl doing something great! I also donated my hair back in June of this year to Locks of love so we are a hair donating family!! I love doing something great for those kids!!

Unity Hip Hop hangover and Limelight Papercrafts sketch and challenge

Unity hip hop thursday came and went again, I didnt get to hop too much but it is always fun to chat with the amazing ladies!!

I was only able to do one of the challenge cards yesterday.
